Cuts and Layers

Over the course of nine weeks automatic sound recordings are being made both inside the Boijmans van Beuningen museum's 'Straatgalerij' and outside at the facade. Furthermore Cuts and Layers provides an interface to navigate these recordings in different ways and thereby creating new relationships and meanings between the recorded material. The work allows the audience to zoom in to specific moments in time and follow different time stuctures.
